This piece is about the horrific reality of war (particularly children who are born, or are very young at the time of war). The constant state of panic and anxiety that stems from the fear of death traps the older generation in this horror scenario, while the children (if they survive) grow up with an intense and deep trauma that scars them for life.

The idea for the song began as a horror lullaby inspired by my own children, but then developed from partially personal experience and partially thinking about the WWII and the Holocaust, as well as current events in certain parts of the world.
